1. Definitions
Emergency Credit — a plan benefit that allows expedited scheduling for qualifying urgent issues, subject to availability.
Priority Scheduling — scheduling preference within the time windows stated in your plan (e.g., next week / next 2 weeks).
2. What counts as an Emergency
- Active water leak that risks damage
- Electrical issue creating immediate safety risk
- Broken lock/door that affects security
- Other urgent cases approved by HandyReady
3. What is NOT an Emergency
- Cosmetic fixes, minor adjustments, non-urgent installs
- Projects requiring permits/inspections
- Issues outside our service coverage
4. Response & Scheduling
We will confirm whether the request qualifies and provide the earliest available appointment window. Same-day service is not guaranteed.
5. Emergency Credits
- Credits reset monthly based on your plan.
- Unused credits may not roll over unless explicitly stated.
- Emergency service time still counts toward your plan visit time limits.
6. Priority Scheduling
Priority scheduling means you receive preferred booking within the plan’s stated timeframe (subject to availability and safety).
7. Limits & Safety
We may refuse/stop work if unsafe conditions exist. Some emergencies may require licensed trades or immediate utility shutoff before service.
